Wow cant anyone read here???:screwy:
He said they will be moved into a bigger tank when bigger, so this would mean they are small, SO this means its a grow out tank.
Doesnt take alot of brain cells to add up that they arnt adult sizes, so a 5ft redtail, 3ft silver aro, 2x15" oscar etc in a 75? Dont think so,think before you flame.
maybe be polite ask what sizes they are and what size there new tank will be, i very big one with a redtail:ROFL:, if yu treat every new member with this behavoir MFK will be less popular fast.

Also are you having a laugh 6x1" fish in a 30gallon tank:screwy:thats more than enough space to grow them out.

Some people on this tank are too quick to flame, its sad. especially over the internet.

I totally agree about the flaming. There is one member who posted in this thread that every post I see him make he is flaming someone or calling them names. And he knows who he is, it has been brought to his attention before.:banher:
And what is it with the OP, they are the worst for flaming.
Most people come here for advice or to show off there fish. They are quick to critisize or jump down someons throat.:screwy: If you disagree at least do it civilized or don't say anything at all. Its easy to run your mouth over the internet because then they don't have to worry about having it shut for them. JMO

welcome to mfk, have fun and enjoy your fish, i did read where ypu said the 75 had baby fish the 30 with 1 inch, you will be ok for a while, however like you said bigger is just a short time away. again welcome to mfk

post those pics and dont worry about the flaming ... hell 99.9% of the people on this site have overstocked a tank or two ... my first experience was 2 oscars in a 40gal:ROFL: ...... i know better now .. and im still learning daily! ....... that is what forums are for - LEARNING- ..... so stick around you'll love it here ........

Wow, thanks for the responses, as far as the flamers go they dont bother me I have been doing the fish thing for awhile now and I hope most people here would think to give me some sort of credit and not think I would put all of those fish full sized in a 75gall. All of those fish are 2in to 3in (babies) the redtail is barly a inch. Anyways the aro is going to a new home b/c he is getting big and I cant setup my 125gallon yet. My biggest fish is a chocolate and hes about 4-5 inches I dont want to part with him but I cant setup my bigger tank yet. But I do want to get my festae into the 75 as fast as possible so my brothers is taking my 2 baby oscars/green texas and aro ( there going to a 180 gallon bow front ) and I am moving just the blue jack dempsey /firemouth and redtail to the 30 gallon there all very small right now. That will leave me with 6 festae, 3-5 Geo Juruparies, 2 plecos and a vieja argentia in my 75 gallon.

Hows that sound to everybody. I wish I could keep all my fish but cant setup the 125 yet limited space.

And again I do not have a fish over 5 inches right now.

Anyways may thing again any advice on raising the festae ( food, rock/wood, plants ) I really want to breed them.

Thanks again fellahs and pictures will come once the switching is done.

you might want to try the "breeding" section in the forums link ...... type "festae" ...... in the search link ..... should provide some answers... good luck

There are a lot of members on here that have kept and bred Festaes. So either wait for them or start another thread with Festae in the title so they know you are looking for info on them. One of the first questions are gonna be about pics to verify if they are true Festae or Uro.
I have never kept or bred them so it would not be for me to answer.

you sound like me

good luck!
