ok, well i got such a nice email welcoming me to this site, it said the first thing i should do is post here and introduce myself, so here goes...
my name is Kassie, and im 24, married and have 3 sons... they are the reason for my being so into photography... it all started with me just keeping up with the world by getting a dig. cam... i loved my camera, almost as much as my kids, it was a nikon 56oo... just point and shoot, proly not the best one out there, but it served my general purposes, and was within my budget. i then got the crazy idea that i could save myself some money by takin my kids pics instead of paying like sears or walmart to take their yearly pics... so one day i hung a blanket on the wall as my backdrop, covered a big plastic tote with another blanket, put my kids on it and started shooting, well they turned out pretty good. imma post them in the not aquatic section here soon. well, the love of my life was stolen along with my purse about 3 weeks ago.... i sobbed, i bawled, i cried for hours. called all the pawn shops and no one has seen it.... too bad, im a middle class american, and all together,between the camera itself, the batteries, memory card, and case someone got a 500.00 package right there.... how sad. so for now im stuck with my moms kodak easyshare c340, it does the job, but i dont like it near as much as i loved my nikon. well... as you can tell i am a complete newbie at this. have no idea what even half of the basic terms mean when your talking photography... but i am super anxious to learn, and come march 07, i should have the money to get another camera, id like some input into what type to get.... i might have a few more bucks to invest in it this time around, but by no means do i have as much as i want...lol
well, i just dont know what else to say about me... if you want to know anything else, just ask, i also would love to get emails if you get the urge, no one ever writes me there....lol
