i`ve just joined this very interesting site. i`m from hampshire in the UK, got my first 2ft starter tank for red bellies 5 weeks ago, have one baby red bellied piranha, 2 more on order, having trouble with the nitrate levels though, at the moment doing weekly 25% to 50% water changes to try to keep the levels down, adding aquesafe to the new water, ph testing aswell that level is fine, today bought some `easybalance` but still have a high nitrate level, the piranha fine though. trying to sort this out before a buy a bigger fish tank.
any advice would be grateful.
