Hello

Just wanted to make a formal hello. I'm looking forward to browsing through the site and possibly getting some info from the more knowledgable people that seem to be here. I've kept fish my entire life (mostly boring tropical fish) but have started to move towards cichlids and possibly, beyond that, into the more fringe species.



On a side note. The forums state that I require 5 posts to view pictures that others have posted. I have over 5, and it is still not allowing me to view them. I'm not counting this post either. Just was wondering.

AS of right now, I just have a convict tank. I had a tropheus and electric blue peacock, but they passed on. They weren't doing great at the petstore, and I offered to take them off the owner's hands. He gave them to me for $5 each, which was a price I was willing to pay, to see if I could get them back healthy. It didn't work.

However, I have some other animals in the house as well.

Whites Tree Frog
Savanah Monitor
Brazilian Black Tarantula
Rosehair Tarantula
Common Snapping Turtle
Fire Bellied Toad
16 Bettas (My girlfriend likes to stare at them)
and two cats (Himlayian and Maine Coon)

Nice collections you got there. I currently have 3 pearlscale goldfish and 2 orindas. You gonna love this site. They're all friendly here. Once again welcome and enjoy.
