Hey guys, i figured after using this site for information for well over a year i would just go ahead and register lol. So hello everyone.

Just for some background i have been in this addictive and increasingly expensive hobby for about 2 years now. I started off with 1 100 gallon African Cichlid tank (which recently got converted to a South American Cichlid tank since Ike decided to take my fish, amongst other things, with him). Now i have my 100 gallon South American tank, a 70 gallon Dwarf Cichild tank, and a 50 gallon Tank taht just came in awaiting a few EBJDs (if i can find some good ones).

Still not into salt water yet... figured i would get a nice big saltwater tank when i retire and have time for it LMAO.

welcome to MFK...and very sorry to hear that IKE caused all your african cichlids to perish... but i am happy to hear your bouncing back with s/a cichlids...what kind do you have...??looking forward to seeing some pics.... and very nice to meet you... we have a great forum on SA/CA ..cichlids.. if you have any questions just let me know..

We are still working on what we want for the SA/CA. So far we have a Queen Pleco, yoyo loach, a few sevrums (turquoise i think), a collection of 2inch Geophaguses, 2 "Chinese plecos" (spotted loaches i think) for tank maintenance, Blue acara, Threadfin acara, and a fish i can’t remember the name of LOL (blue body with orangish red fins). Once i get pics i will upload them , just give me a few days hehe.
