Hello

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
let me do the honours of saying welcome first. . . greetings fellow fish fanatic.

im relatively new myself and got a bit confused too. just go on randomposts and chat away. soon get use to it.

Welcome to mfk, it's like one big happy family here! and i like to think i fill the role of the uncle that everyone hopes won't turn up at the reunion.

Seriously though, it's a very addictive site can take a while to find the way around as it's so large but it's not too bad. Do you keep fish yourself at the moment or looking for inspiration?!

Welcome Aboard!

Very nice people here, where everyone is just like family.

Feel free to post your questions to the forums, and photos to the gallery.

Thanks so much... I have been keeping and breeding fish for about 25 years. When I was 8 I started selling my fish to department store's and LFS here in Oklahoma to support my addiction. Previously I kept 6- 55's, 4-29's, and 8- 10's but have recently reduced my tanks to 2-55's, 2- 29's, and 2- 10's since these entities can get the fish at a lower bulk rate. Now I'm just concentrating on the quality of life rather than the quantity. I have kept and am keeping many types of fish. All of my tanks are planted except my Mbuna tank. I find the Central/ South American cichlids most interesting because their behavoir seems so much more advanced and deliberate. This year I ventured into the salt water realm. Scary!!! Anyway, I'm here for several reasons: to meet other "fish freaks", get advice, and most importantly have fun talking about everything "Fish".
