since hes only about 2" you can just keep him on the basics... flakes, pellets, veggie rounds, and all the processed stuff.
He will learn to like that and hopefully you can train him on good foods like that rather than feeding him feeder fish cause you wanna stay away from feeder fish until he gets older and bigger. - if you do decide to feed him live litte fish, only do so every-so-often.

Thanks everyone! And i googled RTM and he does look similiar. Are they similiar fish? Any differences regarding size and aggression? How can i sex them?

TY! i was also wonderin if anyone had a picture of a juvenile cuban cichlid and jag? Im pretty sure i have a jag but just want to be sure lol.

Here's my female Cuban! Jag's and Cubans look quite different so you should be able to say what it is once you've seen a couple of photo's.

she's got a great black and white color to her. hopefully when my convicts mature, they'll get more of a contrasted black and white color...
