Hi, I am new. I have 7 fish tanks in a fishroom. The fish i keep : 1 Red arowana, 1 giant red-tail gourami, 1 flowerhorn, 2 snakeheads, 1 bichir, 5 tin foil barbs, 2 Palembang freshwater Puffer fish, 2 climbing perch and 6 Discus.

That's quite a collection! Are the puffers housed together? If yes, for how long?

I have been keeping the puffers for about 1 year and they are kept together. 1 of them puffed up 2 days ago, probably irritated by the pleco. Also, tried feeding them dried food but failed. They prefer live feed. The puffers are like vacuum cleaners, they just suck the whole fish into their mouths, scary!

What kind of fish are you feeding them? Try snails, crabs, crayfish & earthworms.

My puffers wont eat anything dead. Tried live worm, 1 puffer ok with it but not the other. The more aggressive one eats fish only and would rather go without food for 1 week.

I gave you a great list of other live options & 2 articles on how to get them eating dead foods. I just hope it's not feeder goldfish you are feeding them.

Thank you for the articles. I feed them small feeder catfish but these tend to carry disease. Earthworms not available where i come from. We have large worms though. Crabs and crayfish on sale here are expensive and too big for my puffers. I will try live shrimps but wonder if they are too fast for the puffers? Have been trawling dried shrimp, they do chase it but wont eat it. Trying to get them to switch to dead feed is giving me a headache. Have the same problem with my aro!

What are the "large worms"? Yes, getting them onto dead foods takes patience but boy, is it worth it!

Large worms: zophobas morio. They need bedding of oats to breed and will breed only when they turn into beetles. You can look it up in wikipedia.
