hey all. I, too, am a mod at AquariaCentral. Hope you don't hold a grudge against me! While I don't currently keep monster fish, I am getting my Master's Degree in Marine Ichthyology so deal with large sharks and rays quite regularly. Also handled some monster halibut!

How do y'all like my avatar? It's of a tank I helped maintain at Friday Harbor Lab in Washington. They're spiny dogfish that were used to study respiration mechanics of their spiracles. I caught quite a few of the dogfish myself

oh, I'm sorry to hear that. We get so much traffic over there that noobs are not taken seriously sometimes It is unfortunate and makes us look bad over there. Everyone so far here has been really nice! I like the casual tone here I've noticed a lot of threads are quite conversational.
