I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I am currently a graduate student at WVU, and I have been keeping fish since my sophomore year of college (just started my 10th year!). My first tank started with tiger Oscars and jack dempseys. I still have the Oscar and the offspring of my jack dempseys, but have since leaned towards saltwater FOWLR tanks.
I currently have 3 saltwater tanks (100g, 65g, and 6g). The fish in my 100 and 65 gallon tanks are getting to large, and I am setting up a 450g with a ~140 gallon sump and ~140 gallon refugium. The sump has about 14 cubic feet of bioballs. The top clear tank will be turned into the refugium and where I will house my skimmer. This has been about an 8 month process to gather the materials since school and a graduate students income have ketp this to a slow build so far.

Kole Tang
Diamond Goby
65 gallon
Clown Tang
Sailfin Tang
Yellow Tang
Niger Trigger
Cleaner Wrasse
6 gallon
2 clown fish
I am currently in need of a large protein skimmer for this setup. If anyone has something that would fit my system for a reasonable price, please message me!
