Thank you Devzev, yes when I got her back then I had no idea. since then I always do the research. I have contacted some pet stores but none close to me will take her. One that is a little further said they have a tank that she would fit in that is the stores tank. I'm afraid to transport her tho. Shes not easy to handle. what would I put her in? how would I keep the water warm? How do I know she'd survive the trip? Should i try to get a bigger tank at is point? my house is only 5 rooms lol. I've had fish tanks my whole life and they've always been very successful. I even had a 17 yr old gold fish. I'm fairly knowledgeable, I just had no clue what I was getting myself into when I got her.

Transport it in a 18 gallon tote with lids. You keep the water warm by turning the heat in the car up. You may need an air stone if the trip is over an hour. You can get a battery powered bubbler from Walmart or if you have a power converter for your car you can use that and a regular air pump.
