Hello i joined up late last night after spending hours drooling over some of the photos on this forum (amazing to say the least). Well the thing is my Birthday is very soon (23rd September) Ive asked for a dslr camera for taking photos of my fish and other things but mainly my fish, Im trying to find out the best camera for taking photos of fish between the Pentax Km or K2000 or Canon EOS 1000D. I know its all about the lenses but surely ones slightly better then the other, If ive posted the question in the wrong section im sorry.

I am refaeli and this is my first forum entry here.. Since I am new to forum community and I feel I am in midst of my own learning curve. I feel sometimes, that I have to learn a lot, hope you guys have patient on me.

tom, sorry i can't comment on either model you're considering. all my experiences have been with nikon d100 and now d90.

hopefully, some pentax and canon dslers will chime in with their opinions.
