Hi
My name is Tom. Long time fish keeper, Brand new to MFK. My family own a Pet Shop for 28 years. As a result I developed a passion/vice/addiction for aquariums. Been fortunate enough to own a business for almost 3 decades that specialized in rare high end exotic fish. Unfortunately somewhere along the line the hobby turned into a job and was no longer “fun” anymore. With the business closing earlier this year I have found the excitement again for keeping monster fish. At this point in my life it’s selfishly all about me and the tanks and fish I want to keep. Currently have several large aquariums and in the process of building a fish room that will feature a 1500 ish gallon pond. Looking forward to connecting with other people in the hobby and having fun with it again. Specifically in the Midwest. I have found people who are into high end monster fish are far and few between in the Midwest. Hoping that will change !
