I know a 50 is too small for a Dovii, ill just use the 50 till its about 5 inches then by that time Ill have another 100 or bigger.

Niether 50 gal nor 100 gal would house a PBass or Dovii for any length of time. With these fish your gonna have to be thinkin' around the 300 gal range. And with the Dovii he may be the only fish livin' in the 300 gal.

Best alternative would be Cichlasoma Grammodes aka the Mini Dovii.

No offense, but I don't think you can answer this one for him/her.

Oh, no offense taken. Legality is a very serious matter to our hobby and this site. It just seemed clear to me, but I see how it could be an attempt at sneaky wording. Nice catch.
