canon powershot S1 IS ( or S2 IS if you want to spend more) it takes great movies (30 frames per second or 15 FPS) panaramic,10x optical zoom, adjust your own apiture or shutters speed, you can take continuous photos ( a couple a secound) untill the memory card is full ( works good for feeding pics) ultrasonic immage stabilizing, a viewing screen that moves in all directions, ect,ect. it is $350 to $450 ( if you look at my pics they are take with this camera... but i save them for the web and reduce the quality (to save down load time)

The nikon d50 is only $550 with lens. That's less than what most people here spend on fish.
