http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?155866-27-quot-Goliath&highlight = 27"GATFthe issue is that they are just not cut out for aquarium life. they grow enormous and unlike other popular giants like arapiama and datnoids they have activity levels that are similar to open water pelagic fish species such as tuna or salmonids, which constantly travel for miles. this makes them extremly claustrophobic and very capable of causing great damage to themselves and equipment in an enclosure setting. Nobody i've seen or heard of has managed to keep one larger then 24 inches.
