I cant imagine brine shrimp causing that,even is you dumped the saltwater they were swiiming in with them.Or are we talking frozen?Ive fed both to mbuna and other africans with good results.
either way its got to be some kind of poison that was in the shrimp.Id have started by changing out all the water then do it again and maybe a third time.

Sounds to me like a contaminated batch of brine shrimp. I would do a 100 percent water change, check daily for new losses so you can remove them. Also might want to change the activated carbon in your filters.

wow that's too bad... try and stick with freshwater shrimps from now on... my cichlids love ghost shrimp

I feed my africans frozen brine shrimp a couple times a week. They love them. If you want to go with live brine shrimp, try growing your own. Their not har to do at all. That way you know whats in the water.

I feed mine live brine sometimes, been doing it for years. I have never had a problem with them...

Yeah, sounds like those particular brine shrimp had some poison in them.
