HELP! After King Kong parrots mate how long does it take for female to hatch eggs?

to late they have 2 be together b4 and during the egg laying process. I would pull the parrot out and let the rams have a lil buffet
don't need to pull the parrot out because at soon as she found out that those egg will not hatch, she will eat them ! unless that female don't have experience on spawning!loureyes;5057440; said:

Its way too late. She can lay eggs again in 2-3 weeks but no South American Cichlid can fertilize the eggs except a Festae, you need a Flowerhorn or Central American Cichlid if you want fertile eggs.
Can the eggs be fertilized, or do they suffer from hybrid infertility? Or is it still possible as long as you get a fertile male (who isnt a hybrid)?

Female cichlids can lay eggs without a male cichlid. If there is a male that has paired with the female, he will fertilize the eggs as she lays them. If no male fertilizes the eggs, they are no good. Females can lay eggs every 2-4 weeks depending on the age of the female.
