Help...anyone?

I have no idea what this is...all I know is that I left the heater running over night, by morning light the tank was warm and well, I don't even know what happened to my Largemouth Bass. Does anyone know what that could be?

I think that is it's slime coat.

I would slowly lower the temp, and why do you have a heater on that tank at all

I would also add some aquarium salt to the tank

that is lymphocystis which is viral and there is no cure but hope.
If your lucky the fish will not die.

Why do you have a heater in with a LMB??? this is not helping things and likely the reason it manifested so quickly.

I was testing my heaters; both are set to 75 F. One of them has been malfunction and stays on no matter what the temperature of the tank is. I left it running over night to see if it would shutdown by morning which it did not. Ironically, I discovered my Largemouth bass covered with what can only be described as small patches of cotton. Man...seeing that really made my skin crawled! Shortly after that discovery, I unplugged the heater to let the water temperature drop back down.

I know it’s been stated that there is no cure; I would at lest like to try the salt bath and both medications listed above...just in case of other unknown infections...

Are you absolutely sure? I look it up and the picture of an infected fish that they have at the bottom of the page does not resemble my Base at all. Take a look: lymphocystis
