  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Sorry about your lost.. :( Did you acclimate it well in the new tank? How did you do it? If you ever decide to get another aro... its better to get a bigger aro around the 7-8" they are much stronger and hardy at that size.

Yeah, I acclimated him well into the new tank, I put him in an extra large bag and floated him in the other tank to get the temp right, and in the mean time about every 15 minutes I would add a bit of the new tank water to his bag until the ph's were spot on(I lost a frontosa once to poor acclimation so I learned my lesson there) and he was fine for about a week and a half to two weeks. And out of nowhere he started acting funny. 3 days later he passed.

I'm very unhappy

Yeah.. sucks when there is no explanation as to why or what caused it. But hopefully you get a new silver or something to cheer you up.

It'll be a while, cuz I don't have the extra money to spend on a 60$ fish due to the loss of the job. But I am definately gonna try again.

I aro is now kinda like floatin on top & barely eating anything. He does curl up in a "c" shApe n then swims straight. I think it was mainly b/c i overfeed him w/ fresh market shrimp & also i didnt cut the shrimp small enought. Im kinda scare he might die. :-(

young arows are hit and miss. sometimes older ones can turn upside down during transport/ travel and you need to hold em upright till they gain normalcy again.
but you said from the move he was ok but turned later on. its strange.
