Thanks for all the support, does mean alot...!

My girlfriend's manager will be ordering me a new juvenile arowana from singapore this time, making sure it's heatlhy! He owns a pet shop at the mall and all they carry is community fish, I can't appreciate it more from him that he's willing to order it in for me on his next shipment!

But thanks everyone!

if i were u cut mealworm/super worm into small pieces or cut earth worms if ur silver doesnt eat earth worm then its sick lol live earth worms too, earthworms r like there most favoritest food lol they go high

Thanx! I will definitely take everyone's advice! But the next arowana will not come for another month! I need to ease it off a little... kinda still upset about the last one!

little carnivorous fish should be feed with live feeders since they're a bit picky on their food and can't stand the long week of starvation at that stage.Try buying another one again and don't be depressed :) we are all here to help.

Try getting one slightly larger than 3" . 4-6" is safer. I am surprised that yours did not take to hikari floating sticks. All my aros took to it immediately (and no, LFS over here do not feed hikari to their charges - WAY to expensive).

All of the above said, with a small fish you shoulda indulge him a little - crickets, live food diet is ok until he gets bigger then you can have a contest of wills during starvation. Don't forget quarantine your feeders if you do decide to use them

Best of luck
