dude its afraid ok? just give him some time, he'll be swimming tomorrow... and get the guppys out since they may crap your water or sth... introduce them later you got a test kit?

Does you tank have alot of surface current? If the current overwelms the aro it will stay where there is low current. You can also add some floating plants to help make it feel more secure. The best things to feed your new small aro is a quality flake food and freeze dried blood worms.

Give your aro a few days to settle in and then it will start eating.

then get a test kit for gods sake... have you cycled the tank?

definitialy get a test kit. 3'x1'x1' is pretty big for that small of an aro if your quarantining it. i have my baby aro in a 10 gal (18"x12"x12") only filled half way. when i did have it filled all the way he was so confused and couldnt catch a guppy, but now that its lowered he is happy and is working on his aim (still not a good shot, but getting better). i also had a Bio Wheel 200 on the 10, bad idea. so when water level was lowered, i put in a sponge filter and its been smooth sailing since. just make sure that you do a water change every day like it is your life that depends on it.

im also a fan of Melafix, it hits so much junk its awesome. you might try that if your aro still isnt doing good...just as a preventative measure.

WELL I WOULD SAY the water is absolutely clean there are three pair of guppy there are also floating plants but today also its not eating

You can't tell the parameters of your water by just looking at it. Fresh water from the faucet may be fresh and clean for humans, but it almost means certain death for fish without treating it:(. If you want to seriously raise ANY fish, a water test kit is a must. Has your tank been cycled? You can search on this site on how to correctly cycle a fish tank before you can add fish. Also, why did you add salt to your tank:confused:? The Doctor.
