HELP ASAP!! POSSIBLE DEAD OR DYING FISH!!

Alright, call me a dumba$$, but I put the Avocado Puffer into the 60-Gallon, and the Oscar went right for him. I tried to stop him, but I was to late, he bit the puffer, the puffer puffed up, I took the puffer back out, and now I have a floating Oscar. i have him in a net in the tank because I didn't know if he is dead or paralyzed?? He is breathing really really slowly, but breathing. Do I wait for him to come to? Is it too late? Do I drain the tank? How long will it take for the Oscar to come out of the state he is in!!!!??????
STUPID IDEA I know, but I am already paying for it. HELP!!!!
 
Yep, dumb idea. Sorry for the loss of your Oscar, he didn't have a chance. Tetrodotoxin is some very powerful poison. How's the puffer?

The puffer is just fine. Just a few little bit marks on his stomach. The Oscar wasn't that big, so he didn't cause that much damage.
Poor guy...
 
Sucks man, I've seen that happen before with a customers Oscars and Green Spots.
