Help, at witts end with a death tank...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That's good. It's frustrating throwing meds at fish sometimes (for unknown maladies) . When you finally get results it is such a relief.

Going forward, I would recommend adding salt whenever you do a water change. Be Salt adds a protective barrier to a fish’s mucus layer which helps protect it from velvet (which is a very nasty disease).

OK, day 10. No symptoms remain. All fish are doing MUCH better. Nothing else has passed. My giant gourami is healing up well, it split alot of fins during the illness. Im still not sure if it was velvet or epistylis, but the Microblift product did the job for sure. Its stinky, but apparently effective.

Day 10 and Im doing my last 'medical' water change.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FAM for the input and expertise!
