4 1/2 inches , gutsy little bruiser isnt he!?!vaipulu;4263305;4263305 said:His max size can't be over 4 1/2 inches. He was caught on a lure that was his size at the time. Fiesty, he got real beat up by my buddys, I didn't think he would make it, but I threw him in and he made a full recovery. I don't see any places where it looked like a nest. I will try to lower the temp, but for now im going to keep him in the 120 gal. Hoping a "time out" might make a diffrence. Thanks for the complements. Can anyone tell if its a male or female?

If he gets any worse I don't have anywhere to put him. He eats out of my hand, I don't think I could release him. lol Maybe he can hang with the festae JK JKTommy I agree I used to keep Goldfish and Cichlids....now its just native Centrarchids and theyre food (minnows).tommyd;4272661;4272661 said:Ha. He sounds like a trip. Just put together a new 55 growout setup with some bass and a few bluegill and sunfish. All locally caught, except for the bluegill. Oh...and a convict. Fun tank. Native fish are some of the coolest to keep.
