you can use just regular table salt (i use the morton brand and it works great) as long as it doesnt have iodine or yellow prussiate added to it, but i wouldnt use this in conjunction with meds just one or the other, though for something like this i would suggest meds but its up to you
I think she is to far gone woke up this morning she was swimming on her side and, laying on the bottom. So I hope she will be ok.

She stayed on the bottom laying on her side for 3days and wouldn't eat. I went up today and she is up swimming and eating. Everything looks good but the eye is gone. thats great that she is being more active and eating again!!!, just make sure that now that she is in small 10g quarantine that you maintain pristine water conditions, the cleaner the water the faster she will heal. and is the eye gone or cloudy?
