Help Canadians Get Hikari!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
hikari massivore and carnivorous fish pellets are available it my local fish store( big als) so i think this is only on frozen foods which is no loss i get all my frozen fish food at the grocery store( frozen shrimp and squid)

I work at an LFS in Edmonton, and We cant get any hikari at all. No Frozen or dried hikari. Most stores in town have run out of it... Even big-als doesnt have any of the stuff I need left. I think they have some puny bags of Food sticks, but no massivore or carnivore pellets.

So it was mentioned that even if I bought some 'fish supplies' from a US company the Hikari would be stopped?

Also, yeah it looks like big-als online has them... but HOLY CRAP its expensive on there!

I looked on the site and they are asking 11.99 for 8.8 oz of Hikari Cichlid Gold, which to me is good considering i pay 14.99 at my local Big Als for the same stuff.

Althou the ban of importing frozen food, my lfs still got plenty of Hikari Bio-Pure / UVX blood worms in stock!

;)

but they are jacking up the price to $5 a pack >.> (use to get them at $3.30 each)

Sinking carnivore & Massivore delite are more expensive than at most LFS here.
