  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
How long has this tank been running, what size is it, and what stock do you have in it?

Agree to the above, you need a big water change to knock the ammo down, and then readd water with a good dose of Prime too. After it sits 10 minutes add your seeded bacteria, I only say 10 minutes because I like to give the Prime a little extra time first. If you want to use a liquid bacteria, Seachem Stability has worked for me, shake it until it looks milky. At this point follow the new tank directions on the bottle.

I accept with you text, but no w/c. dont wc plz. waste lost bacteria. bacteria need start hungry and start to work eat ammo then nitrite.

3 weeks
110 litres
15 discus

3 weeks? There should be sufficient beneficial bacteria in the filter by now..
Did you change anything in your setup lately, say wash your filter materials??

110 liters is about 29 gallons. I don't know why you think 15 3" discus in an aquarium that size is ok. You need to get rid of some fish and do what some of what the other people said to get rid of ammonia. You do realize your aquarium is too small for even one adult discus, right?
