HELP!! COLMBIAN SHARK CATFISH!!!

My dad walked into my room and my 6-7inch columbian shark catfish started freaking out for a little over a minute. Around his nostrils, he's getting really red. Should I melafix??

He was my first fish that I got 2 years ago! Help

It's red because he freaked out and crashed into the tank a bunch...
He JUST got it. Not this morning, not this afternoon.

But I think the redness is calming down.

I'm sure he'll be fine if he has settled down and the redness is subsiding. Maybe you need to introduce more hiding places in your tank if he reacts like that again.
