Ya I always feed my con babies flake crushed.. Best way in my opinion to keep highest percentage of fry is to have a growout just for them..

I have found that the fry easily eat the small particles from cubes of frozen mysis shrimp. I guess if they eat that as fry, it should be easy to grow them out on frozen food. I'm not keeping any of them, i'll just take them down to the lfs once they are large enough. Maybe i can barter them for more frozen foods. 
I hate to derail, but this is kinda an emergency. Will crushed flakes work for Oscar wrigglers? I just found out my supposedly dud eggs hatched! What shall I do next? Thanks!

I dont think they are going to crumble bloodworms.
But yes, they do eat FLAKES and then blow out the shreds to the fry. But dont rely on this as the only means of feeding them.
