Okay a light i had for my 120 gallon tank caused alot of algae growth in my tank. i got ride of the light and went back to my aqualight coralife 48" light that has four 10k bulbs in it. i used the algaefix and still the algae is all over the plants the drift wood and decroations. it even grows on the side of the glass. what can i do to rid this algae? its the kind that has like little hairs on everything. i dont know the tech name of it but it has little like hairs growing on everything. it grows in like clustors up and down the stuff in my tank. i guess its a common algae. can some one please advise on what to do here. should i remove all the stuff in the tank and replace it? ive tried to scrap it from the drift wood and from the plants. the thing is its so hard to remove from the plants. i need some help.
