I am having troble feeding my new bicher and shovelnose. The bicher sees the food and starts going for it, but the faster red devil beats him to it. I thing I will just add larger feeders. problem solved. but what the troble is,is the shovelnose. it is only abot 3 inches and there small fry evrywhere ,but he won't eat. I want to find a way to get the catfish to eat anything that will keep it alive. The 5" bicher will eat larger feeder gups but what can I do to gradually get him to eat prepared foods, with the red devil?

put the shovelnose in a smaller tank by itself and let em grow out a bit
