Hopefully the area doesn't get infected. I'd probably still keep up with the epsom salt. Hope she has a 100% recovery and it heals correct. Not sure what the removal of that area will do with breeding though

Good move - you had to do something if she was looking that rough, and even if it messes up her future breeding, which I think less likely than likely, she will still be a beautiful fish - keep us updated
