Help first vivarium/terrarium!

No worries, also, another method which i've seen used a few times in the past is also adding a fogger to their paludarium system... it helps keep setups with a lot of moss setup around the tank moist, and gives off a very neat effect as well if setup correctly...

Yepp I was going to put a fogger for the cool effect and plants, its not good to have it on all the time cause it might over water plants? or what do you recommend on how long it should stay on? Thank you!

^ i guess it depends on the plants used? But from setups i've seen over here, normally people put their foggers on timers, and when i've asked on a couple of setups i've seen the staff have said they run their foggers for anywhere between 30min - 1hr, and they have them run between 3 - 6 times a day (but always only when lights are on)...

You'll probably want to go with something more tropical. Newts are great when you've got a well cooled tank, about 18-20 celsius. To have greater success, go with animals that occupy different sections of the set-up. Keep it to probably 2 species max honestly. Amphibians and reptiles just aren't great for mixing as a rule of thumb. The larger the space you have the better. Plan carefully!

Well, it depends. My friend's 75 gallon used to be set up as a community Vivarium, featuring an Asian Long-Tailed Grass Lizard, Green Tree Frog, Red-Eyed Tree Frog, Green Anole, Bahaman Anole, House Gecko, Gray Tree Frog, Clown Tree Frog, some Poison Dart Frogs, a Blue-Tailed Skink, Amazon Milk Frog, a wild-caught Salamander, Fowler’s Toad, Firebelly Toad, Bumble Bee Toad, and a Pygmy Chameleon. It was pretty sweet, lasted for several years, until something happened that killed all those little critters in less than two weeks... Not sure if it was a disease or what. Who knows.
