HELP! Fish sick

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I completely agree with you and I know it sounds stupid not to have a test kit but, thats the way it is right now. After turning lights off he seems more "playful and active" still no signs of eating. Water change schedule is a 40% water change 2-4 times a month

You also mentioned the new food, did your fish eat and like the new Jumbo Sticks?

Other things I forgot to say are

The small flowerhorn seems to be doing fine EXCEPT he has no appetite

Heater was turned down somehow to 73 F turned it up to 80 just now

guy can go 2 weeks with out eating with no ill effects. if just pouting he will go back to eating, what is tank size?

I would up water changes, 2 a week 50% or 75% until you get him in a larger tank. I am of the school of thought of go big or go home.

He will not be moved for another 3 months or so because I am almost done building my 400 gallon tank and need to cycle that/move the fish from the 180 into that.
