Cool......remember.....no lights, cover the tank, and no food for 3 days......cover it and forget it.....72hrs should do the trick......also to help it out......put a pot, tube something round that it can go in so it can rest on that and stay under water
i just checked up on him and his float is gone, he is swimming normally and he even came to the front of the tank asking for food.
how much longer should i wait?
and im about to get some baby datnoids for the tank will i have to do a water change to get rid of the salt or will it do nothing to them?
If he is not floating to the top and able to staying submerged with no effort then it can go back in the regular tank.....as far as a water change you can do liek a 20% and it should be good....epson salt wont hurt any new fish.....
ya he is fine, when he stops swimming he doesnt float up, and when he is swimming his tail isnt sticking up so i guess hes all good to go, but im gona wait till tonight to move him back just to be sure
