Hi,

for first time purchased a baby 3'' KK Horn. And kept him/het in my 150G SA community tank.
For a week the FH did not eat, he is been bullied. So now keeping him in my 40G feeder tank.
Problem is he not eating, he is taking the pallets and spitting them out. Help me people, should I put him bak in the community tank. He is not that active anymore as well. Suggestion please...

!50G tank stock : 2 +8'' Oscar, 1 11'' Asian Arowana, and a 3'' American Tiger
40G tank : 3'' KK Flowe Horn
Water condition is great, WC done twice 30% in both tank

so I take it the FH is in the 40g alone?

Yes ...
it is a bare bottom tank...with bottom and back with black background.
For filtration I have 1 1200/L Hr IPF and a SunSun Canister, with a powerhead
Temp is 28C...

leave him there, take a few weeks but he will get to know you and start devouring pellets, the fact that he is taking them in and spitting them out a good thing. just feed one at a time, he water pristine no issues he will come around. do suggest you get some kind of decor the tank.

He also might have IPs, which flowerhorns commonly do. They are routinely treated upon arrival after being imported. sometimes tasting, but spitting food out is an early indication.

today he took a few bites on market srimp ... but he is started pooping white strings ... and hiding behind the power head
I have kept the temp high and mixed rock salt ... should i use Epsom salt in there too ?

I tried to shift him in my community tank...but my female Salvini...started bullying him...so shifted the salvini to the 40G breeder tank...and kept the FH in the community....what do you guys suggest ?

I think the signs indicate internal parasites as suggested by the white poo and spitting food out. May have been prudent to keep him in the 40g so you could treat if it was parasites or until you could assess further
