Very true about epson salt, helped with float of my wc male.most people use lake rift supplements as well.

I wouldn't bother with the rift lake supplements, too expensive. Aragonite sand as substrate, aged water with sea salt to add some missing minerals is more than enough, and less costly on the pocket. I prefer to spend my money on fish, plus high school chemistry was not a total waste, was it

try live food. my frontosa's go nuts over tetras. try it.

Try feeding every third day. Put a little bit of food in. If it does not eat, scoop the food out and try again in three days.

Post ammonia, nitrites and nitrates. You may need to do a small water change.
