Hi guys im new here and can you help me gender my channa pulchra

Welcome to MFK. I have no idea how to sex channa, but I doubt the images are clear enough to do so even if I knew. Are you able to get some pics w better focus? Also, venting for most species is the most reliable way. Can you get clear pucs of the vent area?

It’s much easier to take pics at night or in a dark room. Turn all the room lights off to eliminate reflective glare, put the tank light on, oh and don’t forget to clean the glass first
