what do you have in there? from the looks of it the flowerhorn looks reasonably large. and from my experiences with flowerhorns, there isn't much out there that can take down a larger male like this one. the beatings almost look like they were drawn out.

i would immediately remove the busted up fish, and try a treatment in a "hospital" tank. i would also try to find out what inflicted this damage, and maybe put that fish in a solo tank.

Just kidding man tough break. That has happened to me before you just gotta learn from the mistakes and roll with the punches.

Good luck.:D
tell me about it:irked: thanks tho

I agree on seperating him. Especially with one eye he's an easy target, he's got a blindspot that the fish that did it to him will surely take advantage of. I'd use plenty of stresscoat or anything with aloe to speed up the healing process. Once he's better I'd use a partition to isolate the other fish change the tank up let the FH get settled then let the other's out. It will be his tank then and he'll have better time with the others.

oh that's right. you have entirely to many midas. i remember now. i could almost promise you it was the midas pair or pairs that have eggs or wigglers.
i was thinking that 2 but he was just fine all of these months and me missing some feedings caused this :( 3days of no food and there going crazy :irked:
