i have a motoro ray and about 3 weeks ago he burnt himself on the heater and now he hasn't ate in about 2 weeks give or take, i tried earth worms, live blood worms, shrimp, he turns it all down and his ribs are showing, i have tried water changes styff with aloe vera, and hes not active will move around, even cought him swimming up the walls of the tanks a few times, how long can they go without eating? oh and he has fin curling

If the ray has not eaten in a few weeks, and its starting to curl, Im sorry to say it prob will not pull thru.
Some say that adding some salt to the tank will help with the healing, but it might be to late with that already since its been so long.. Add heat, lower lighting. With a burn, there is not alot you can do. And if the ray is not wanting to eat due to its in pain, not alot you can do about that. Maybe get a turkey baster, fill with black worms and see if you can squirt the worms out rt in front of the ray and maybe under him so he doesnt have to work so hard to find food by swimming around.. Help him save energy for healing..

All I can also say is get that heater covered.. go buy a heater cover that will fit or get a piece of PVC pipe and drill alot of holes in it and slide it over the heater..

Have you added salt? Done frequent water changes? This is what I would do. Also bump up your heat and turn out the lights, cover the tank if you have too. Do you have access to blackworm?
here are photos of his ray he is kinda new here and wasnt sure how to attach the photos.. i dont have motos ...any ideas.. also he says the ray hasnt ate in weeks..

Look at your local pet store and see if they care live blackworms, if not see if they have frozen ones..
Rays love blackworms...
