yeah I wish but thats TOO MUCH WATER kinda sucks ill have to settle with a 55. maybe when they get used to the 55 I can upgrade again.
You can never have too much water when you are a MFKer. :banhim: :D

Maybe you will end up doing what I did and go straight from having a 55g to getting a 220g. ;)

well my pleco my eel and raphael cat don't bother each other they all sleep together in the same cave. I provided other caves but they just stay in there together so my pleco doesn't do much my raphael follows him and actually sleeps on top of him or the pleco on him so I am not worried about my rubber lip otherwise my eel would have wounds. I am very happy my eel decided to swim today so hes been active today just when I thought he was lame.

hes a rubber lip/ bull dog pleco grows up to 6 inches
a raphael cat
a jd male 3.5 inch
a peacock eel 4.5 inch
( all living in harmony except for the tip of my raphael cats barbel not sure if that was my jd. tho its strange because my Raphael actually bumps into the jd when he swims and the jd ignores him. i think he might have though it was a worm or something.)

That doesn't mean anything when it comes to compatibility between bichirs and plecos. Plecos are normally only aggressive toward ganoid scaled fish like bichirs and gars (that is unless they are not being fed properly, in which case they may go after any fish in the tank).

i know its too small thats why im upgrading it was my first monster fish tank got it in january took me only a couple months to know that I needed a bigger one figured if my parents got used to the 37 I could upgrade slowly.)

should I buy the bichir now or when I get the 55? I think I might get him now cause the one I saw came up to the surface like a cichlid thinking I was going to feed it.

I cant wait for the 55 I got some dry wood from the forest a dry log hollowed out by wood peckers some cool branches. :nilly: cant wait to set up my new tank ill post pics when its all set up.

I would wait until you get the tank, because if you get the bichir and the pleco starts sucking on it you won't be able to sepparate them (unless you have a divider).

sorry i only read the half of the firs tpage of responses but what kind of bichir is it? you may be bored of some of them because they aren't as active I find that senegals and ornates are the most active out of the 3 species i've kept the third being the endli who spends his time trying to dig (???)
