Ohhhh yeah looks like one of my petsmary "red texas". These have been heavy synspilus mixes from what i see. Those that arent pearly kamFas anyways. Should color up nicely though. One of mine had a green body with pinkish red head.

O then its a PK kamfa check out the petsmart kamfa thread. A kamfa is a multigeneration vieja x flowerhorn cross so it goes that it looks like a vieja before it gets its colours. If it is a pk they are mostly synspilum/red head. these are known as "classic kamfa"

Ive bought one of those before at pet smart the sold it to me as a black belt its a type of veja i forgot the name i was told it was, mine grew to 6inches and had coloring almost like a blackbelt but had red specks on its fin when it got older it eventually died from my arowana trying to eat it, thats also how i lost my trimac and male festae both 6inches. i learned unless there really aggressive dont put them in with my arowana he will try to eat them

Thanks for the answers, and yes i no what a PK is, i was asking about this little guy because out of the 5 i had none looked like this, but it is still young and time will tell. Ill update when it starts getting color.
