help i.d. this barb

whats up guys i saw these at my lfs and they had them labeled as blushing cheek shark . they have a pretty big mouth on em and i was wondering if anybody encountered these before and how big they get

no idea. but i see a tor tail shape. nor tor bottom fins . a sucker mouth. non tor black spots. i have a feeling it wont grow big

i hope u meant that as a joke waaaaaay off ^^;; definitely a barb not a characin

There are several species that look very similar to this when small.If we
could confirm the presence or lack of barbels the fish could be easier to
identify.

I'm still guessing it's a Freshwater Barracuda
