•Potamotrygon Limai
•Potamotrygon Castexi (variant)?
•Something else?
Any experts opinion would be greatly appreciated!

It looks like a motoro hybrid.

I respect your opinion, but I can confirm it doesn’t have any Motoro in its genetics. I forgot to mention when this Stingray was a pup it looked like a galaxy pup

Thank you for being courteous, I am by no means an expert on rays but now I'm curious to know what it is. I love the pattern of it.

Looks like a hybrid ray. Could be many possibilities.

I agree that it looks like an hybrid of some sort. Ive got one female hybrid that i dont know that has similar pattern but still not the same. She is an import from thailand of unknown species.

Nah i would not say its an P. rex. Most likely an hybrid of some sort. By the spots in the ringpattern it might have some pearl in it. Heres my large pearlmale.
Id say that its an nice ray anyways.

Thanks for your opinion, I can see the similarities. However she didn’t look anything like a pearl when she was a pup, she looked identical to a Galaxy pup (the top image). That’s what I can’t explain.

Well yeah rays develop their pattern over time. If you take a look one the pic i uploaded on my pearl male you see an p14 looks when mature. The black large ray with many small spots is an galaxy or p14 as they are known as. I did say she might have some pearl in her not that it was an pearl.
What did you buy her as? Is she wc or is she bred in captivity? If wild what locality is she from?
