they live in the same area as the african buffalo head cichlid and "elongated" african buffalo head cichlid they are cool fish and like a bit of current..... will eat blood worms and some sinking pellets when they feel like it but most wont always take it......

It look like a mini pike. Very nice. I think he would look good in a river setup. He looks great as is though
