This fish is old. Gold Severum. Not sure what this is thats on his face. His eye on this side seems to be pushing out more then the other and there are little white tuffs coming out of each spot you see. Blood does seem to be coming from the one above his eye. No Clue what I have here. Nothing online seems to match this. Please help Butterscotch.

you need this thread moved to Freshwater Diseases and Health Issues, to get real help.

What are your water parameters, and what tankmates do you have this fish with? You could be facing a serious bacterial infection. I would QT him immediatley

uhh!

get meds ASAP

Looks like the disease that leads to duck lips. W/C every day and use Metro. That should cure it. But I think it ill come back.

I cured my RT before from craazy duck lips. There were white tooth paste-like puss that I pushed out from inside his face out through the nose it was grose as hell. There were a lot forming all every day.

I cured him a fe times through the year but eventually he died from that same disease.

That RT as nice but he as a hardcore Hybrid so he got sick like a little *****..

looks like Fungus

That looks really bad. How long has the fish been like that? How have you tried treating it so far? I would try treating with Maracyn-Two Gram negative bacteria). Another treatment option would be a combination of Metro and Fruan-2 this second option would be for a combination parasitic and bacterial infection. I can't be sure exactly what that is ie parasitic, bacterial or a combination of both that's why I gave you two options.

What are your water paramiters? What is your tank maintance schedule like? What is your experiance level with treating fish? I could make a couple of other suggestions but I don't know how comfortable you are with this. The meds are the easiest way to go as far as aministration is concerned. Before starting any treatment do a large 50% water change and vacume the gravel. Remove carbon fron the filter for the duration of treatment. If you have any questions please ask.

Looks to me like a bacteria or parasite. I'd treat it as fast as possible once someone gives instructions. Keep up on water changes and hope for the best. I'm no expert on fish illnesses whatsoever.

I moved this to the correct section and merged both threads since you posted in both sections. Please see my post #7 above.
