Help I just bought a fish that looks like a dolphin?

That isn't a elephant nose fish...
it is a Mormyrus tapirus "Freshwater Dolphin"...very nice pickup

it is in the same family as baby whales, elephant nose, and dolphin fish. They like low lights and use usually use snout to forage for food at bottom of tank. Very shy, should give him a place to hide, cave
These fish are crazy cool pets. They grow SUPER slow, but love to "play". Look on youtube and you will see what I mean.
So what you're saying is...is that you purchased a fish that you had no idea what it was or how to care for it? I wish you the best of luck in caring for it.
