I dunno bout the teeth part, but i do know they have strong jaws and definitely eat meat as they are canivores

sorry for my ignorance but only congicus come from africa? or most of the species come from africa? Coz the shopowner told me it came fram africa. But again i might be conned by my own lack of knowledge

All Bichirs are from africa.. But a bunch of them are bred in Asia

Ohh thanks alot ! Btw do u all know of the hybrid of endi and congicus? There seems to be on the market nowaday in taiwan. And actually how to i differentiate between a endi and a congicus?

it is a captive bred endlicheri endlicheri... but i can see why there is confusion with a endli congicus. it has thin stripes like a congicus, but has the dorsal fin count, head shape, and color of an endli endli.

The base color is a give away, too red to be true congicus. Either a hybrid, or endli endli with amazing congicus pattern.
