If you can't afford a drill and a saw, then this might not be the hobby for you.
Clay-If you cannot read and take in what you are reading, maybe this isn't the hobby for you- he is trying to build a canopy, not a stand.

KingoRock- If you get lucky at Home Depot or Lowes, as I have, you can have the person who cuts the plywood cut the plywood you are buying to the exact dimensions you are looking for. All you would then need is a drill and some screws, or you could ask someone with a drill to help you put the pieces together.... it's easier to assemble with 2 people anyhow.
All you do to build a canopy is build a box, then cut it in half or a quarter and attach a hinge at the cut and there is your opening. Seems easy to me as I am a carpenter, but it is a easy DIY project anyhow.
